About the tournament
The Terra Wortmann Open is one of the select grass-court events on the ATP calendar and has been an ATP 500 since 2015. First held in 1993, the tournament has produced six German champions over the years: Michael Stich (1994), Nicolas Kiefer (1999), David Prinosil (2000), Tommy Haas (2009, 2012), Philipp Kohlschreiber (2011), and Florian Mayer (2016). Roger Federer added to the event’s legacy by winning his 10th title here in 2019.
