About the tournament
The Millennium Estoril Open continues Portugal’s long-standing presence on the ATP Tour calendar, a tradition that dates back to 1990. The country introduced its current ATP 250 clay-court event at Clube de Ténis do Estoril in 2015. In partnership with the Municipality of Cascais, the tournament is designed to bring fans closer to the players and the on-court action, adding to its appeal as one of the more intimate clay stops on the tour.
