About the tournament
The Nordea Open in Bastad is one of the most established clay-court events on the ATP Tour. The tournament celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023 and was voted ATP 250 Tournament of the Year by players for 11 consecutive years, from 2002 to 2012. With the exception of 2020, when the event was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nordea Open has taken place every summer since 1948 and has continued to grow in stature over the decades. In 2011, Robin Söderling became the first Swedish player to win the title multiple times since Magnus Norman in 2000.
